Future Parrish Projects

MW is going to be a major artery through our county and town. Keep in mind that interstate exits and hospitals tend to have many amenities around them for travelers, like gas, hotels and restaurants.
Here are some projects that I've seen planned or permitted:

1. MW will be widened to 6 lanes from I-75 eastward to US 301, and it will be widened to 4 lanes from I-75 westward to US 41. This will be done in phases.
2. Robinson Gateway Complex - includes a much needed area hospital right next to the interstate. This is a 288 acre housing and retail space.
3. North River Ranch area hospital - a second hospital will be located at MW and 301, along with a nursing home facility. I don't think a name has been announced for it yet.
4. Seaire Lagoon - a public access water park (shown in one of the attached pictures)
5. At least 4 gas stations - one of which I believe will be very large, like a LOVES truck stop.
6. Two hotels with about 550 rooms between them
7. Several fast food/drive thru restaurants
8. There will be approximately 3500+ affordable housing units/apartments built
9. Lots of medical and dental office space
10. Two new schools are planned (middle and elementary I believe, in addition to Harvey)
11. Parrish High School on Erie Road is already being expanded
12. Three or more self-storage properties
13. Several restaurants and smaller markets
14. At least a dozen housing subdivisions with commercial properties touching MW
15. A Florida State College campus on Fort Hamer
16. A community park on Fort Hamer
17. At least one car wash at the Gateway Commons Publix plaza
18. More north/south roads will be developed or expanded between Erie to MW, or 69th St E to MW. I believe one will be Harrison Ranch Blvd extended north to meet MW.
